There is one true and living God revealed in the Scriptures as eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 12:29; John 14:26; II Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. He is the only true God and true man. He lived a sinless life upon this earth, and He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He rose bodily from the grave on the third day and later ascended bodily into Heaven where He continues His ministry at the right hand of God as our Advocate and Great High Priest. He will one day soon personally and visibly return to earth to set up His Kingdom. Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1, 14; I John 5:20; Hebrews 4:15; I Corinthians 15:3-4; II Corinthians 5:21; I Peter 2:24; Luke 24:36-38; Acts 1:9-11; I John 2:1-2; Ephesians 1:20; Hebrews 4:14-16; Matthew 25:31-32; Revelation 20:6
Every believer is sanctified in Christ at conversion and continues during the Christian life. The believer is to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Sanctification is completed when the believer stands in the presence of Christ, either at death or by the rapture. I Corinthians 13:10; Hebrews 10:10; II Peter 3:18; Philippians 3:12-15; I Corinthians 13:10; Hebrews 12:23; I John 3:2
God has given His Church three ordinances which are to be observed: 1) Baptism, which is to be administered only to believers, is by immersion and in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 2) The Lord’s Supper is to be open to all born-again believers present. 3) The Washing of the Saints Feet, an ordinance teaching humility, is of universal obligation, and is to be ministered to all true believers. Matthew 28:19-20; Romans 6:3-4; I Corinthians 11:23-26; John 13:1-17
All men will stand before God in judgment- the righteous before the Judgment Seat of Christ, when Jesus returns for His Bride, the Church, just prior to the period of tribulation and the thousand year reign of Christ on the earth, and the unrighteous before the Great White Throne Judgment at the close of the Millennial Kingdom. The wicked will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Hebrews 9:27; John 5:29; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; II Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20: 1-15; Matthew 25:46
